01
Raw Coil & Metallurgy Specifications
| Done | Specification Item | Recommended Checkpoints & Criteria | Buyer Project Input |
|---|---|---|---|
| Base Metal Grade | Identify specific alloy: Commercial Q235 (equiv. S235 / A36), high-yield structural steel, aluminum alloy, or stainless steel. | ||
| Decimal Thickness Range | Specify confirmed decimal thickness in millimeters (e.g. 0.35 mm to 0.70 mm). Avoid nominal trade gauges which vary by region. | ||
| Yield Strength Properties | Provide yield strength range from Mill Test Certificates (MTC). Required for roller springback compensation calculation. | ||
| Coating & Surface Finish | Identify coating: Hot-dip Galvanized (GI), Galvalume (GL/Aluzinc), Prepainted (PPGI), or Zinc-Aluminum-Magnesium (ZAM). | ||
| Coil Dimensions & Weight | Specify max coil weight (Tons), strip width (mm), inner diameter (ID: 508 mm or 610 mm), and max outer diameter (OD). |
02
Profile Geometry & Dimensional Requirements
| Done | Specification Item | Recommended Checkpoints & Criteria | Buyer Project Input |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cross-Section Drawing | Provide 2D CAD drawing (.DWG / .DXF) or vector PDF showing all dimensions, rib heights, valley widths, and inside bend radii. | ||
| Effective Coverage Width | State the required effective installed building coverage width and overall formed profile width. | ||
| Overlap & Capillary Groove | Verify weather-lap details: anti-capillary siphon siphon groove on the under-lap rib to prevent water seepage. | ||
| Punching & Notching Details | If purlin or strut profiles require holes: indicate round/slotted hole patterns, hole pitch, and edge margin requirements. | ||
| Finished Cut Lengths | Specify standard production lengths, min/max cut length capability, and finished product stacking logistics. |
03
Mechanical, Transmission & Electrical Architecture
| Done | Specification Item | Recommended Checkpoints & Criteria | Buyer Project Input |
|---|---|---|---|
| Frame & Shaft Structure | Confirm solid shaft steel grade (e.g. 45# carbon steel or 40Cr), shaft diameter adequacy for profile depth, and side-plate thickness. | ||
| Tooling Material & Heat Treatment | Specify roller material: e.g. 45# steel with hard chrome plating, GCr15 bearing steel, or Cr12MoV vacuum heat-treated dies. | ||
| Drive Transmission Type | Heavy chain drive with guide sprockets vs. independent split gearbox transmission with universal joint shafts for heavy sections. | ||
| Destination Grid Voltage & Frequency | State local workshop voltage (e.g. 220V, 380V, 415V, 440V, 480V) and frequency (50Hz vs 60Hz). CE motor attestation available. | ||
| Control System & Language | Touchscreen HMI with English user interface, PLC brand preference, emergency stop placements, and manual/auto jog control. |
04
Inspection, Pre-Shipment Trials & Ocean Logistics
| Done | Specification Item | Recommended Checkpoints & Criteria | Buyer Project Input |
|---|---|---|---|
| Workshop Trial Coil | Confirm whether buyer ships representative coil stock to the factory or workshop sources equivalent coil locally for trial runs. | ||
| Factory Acceptance (FAT) Video | Agree on multi-angle trial recording: full forming sequence, cutting accuracy, sample dimension measurement, and control test. | ||
| Anti-Rust & Moisture Protection | Unpainted shafts and tooling oiled with anti-rust compound, plastic shrink wrap, wooden blocking, and steel wire container lashing. | ||
| Spare Parts & Wear Items | Clarify spare components included: proximity switches, solenoid valves, hydraulic seals, and spare cut-off blade set. |
