ENGINEERING / PROJECT PREPARATION

A clearer brief.
A better equipment discussion.

Start with the sheet, tile or panel you want to manufacture. Add your material and workshop constraints to define the line around the whole process.

START WITH WHAT YOU KNOW

You don’t need every answer
to start the conversation.

A section drawing is useful. A sketch and a clear description can also start the discussion. Mark undecided dimensions so they can be reviewed before tooling and quotation.

Project preparation

Roll forming specification checklist

Prepare these inputs for a project-specific review. Station count, shaft diameter, motor power, tooling and achievable speed must be confirmed against the actual profile and material.

  1. Profile drawing

Section dimensions, bend radii, tolerances, cut lengths and any hole pattern.

  2. Material specification

Material grade, coating, thickness range and available material certificates.

  3. Production requirements

Required output, product mix, batch sizes, cutting and punching sequence.

  4. Coil and handling

Coil width, weight, inner diameter and loading or unloading requirements.

  5. Factory conditions

Available floor space, power supply, lifting equipment and installation access.

  6. Acceptance and delivery

Inspection criteria, sample material, destination, timing, training and support scope.

TOOLING FABRICATION & LINE COMMISSIONING

From tooling CNC machining to line trial.

Compare finished output

Include cutting, pressing, product lengths and handling when discussing production per shift.

Plan the installation interface

Share your floor plan, power supply, coil access and existing equipment so the scope can account for the workshop.
